Kerry Fisher


Dr. Kerry Fisher graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Throughout her career as a veterinarian, Dr. Fisher has focused on "Pre-hab and Rehab" for animals. She obtained the certificate of Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) at the University of Tennessee, certified with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Kerry created & owned one of the first small animal pain management & physical rehabilitation practices and is a pioneer in using FitPAWS® Canine Therapeutic & Conditioning Equipment. She's among the first veterinarians to use the DogTread treadmill-computerized Gait4Dog lameness evaluation system.

As owner of 
Canine Rehab ~ Canine Fitness Unleashed!,a Golden, Colorado based Canine Gym, Dr. Kerry provides canine injury prevention, rehabilitation, and behavior modification services. She has a passion for and experience working with sporting, search & rescue, performance, service, therapy, working, hunting and pet dogs.

Dr. Kerry is Academic Administrator, co-creator and Lead Instructor of the FitPAWS® Master Trainer Program™ . She created the International Association for Canine Fitness and Performance and has lectured in Japan for the Japanese Veterinary Rehabilitation Association, in Mexico for veterinarians as well as providing workshops for dog owners, trainers and handlers.

Kerry is an athlete herself
, enjoying endurance triathlons, mountain biking, bicycle touring, backpacking and telemark skiing. She biked, camped and toured 4,000 miles across the Northern Tier of the USA with her yellow Labrador, Mr. Mitchell. The Leadville 100 mountain bike race (104 mile bike race - known as the 'Race Across the Sky' at 10,000 feet + elevation) is her 2015 endurance challenge.
