Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists is accepting applications for the position of Veterinary Rehabilitation Technicians for our busy 24-hour Specialty and Emergency practice. Candidates must be certified or formally trained in veterinary rehabilitation therapy.
Our hospital has expanded to become the largest, dedicated, technologically advanced specialty referral hospital and emergency/critical care facility of its type serving the southeast region of Florida. We are approaching the future with goals to match the needs of the ongoing advancements in veterinary care.
Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists was established in West Palm Beach in 1998 and has developed from a mobile surgery service into a full-service, multi-disciplinary, specialty-only practice. We reside in a new 32,000 sq. ft. physical plant (operating 24/7/365) that boasts an in-house national reference laboratory and a blood bank. The Hospital also houses an Education Center with a 125-seat auditorium, large conference room and meeting hall that is used to provide continuing education programs for veterinarians and paraprofessionals. Our current staff of specialists includes a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, three Surgeons, two Internists, Emergency and Critical Care Service with a board certified Criticalist, Neurosurgeon, and Cardiologist. The hospital also has an Advanced Imaging department with on-site MRI (1.5T), CT (4 slice) and Linear Accelerator (Varian Clinac 21EX). We are a very integrated practice that uses a team approach to case consultation and management. Our doctors work closely with our nurses and technical staff to provide optimal patient care, careful client service and open dialogue with referring veterinarians. The Chief-of-Staff and hospital owner is a practicing clinician with a commitment to delivering quality and value specialty veterinary medical services.
West Palm Beach is located on the southeast coast of Florida. The area is blessed with year-round pleasant weather and beautiful beaches.
