Canine Rehab of New York is looking for a CCRP/CCRA certified veterinary technician to join our team in New York City. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is a team player and has excellent communication and client interaction skills. This practice is associated with a full service veterinary hospital but occupies its own separate space.
Our rehabilitation plans are individualized for each patient and include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises and modalities. We utilize thermotherapy (hydrocollator), massage, cryotherapy (including a GameReady for post-op stifle cryo and compression) and work with Fitball equipment. Available modalities are Class 4 laser, extracorporeal shockwave therapy, TENS/NMES and an underwater treadmill. We also additionally offer services for weight control and programs for core strengthening and stability.
